Vogue Australia, which has 1.3 million print and online readers, announced our upcoming Helen Kaminski collaborations with Bábbarra Women’s Center in their February print edition. Bábbarra Women’s Centre is in the Northern Territory of Australia and empowers local women to develop and run women-centered enterprises that support healthy and sustainable livelihoods. The first collaboration, which will launch next month, will feature artwork that is hand-carved into linoleum by the artists and then handprinted onto hats made from raffia. Phoebe Hyles, Designer, was quoted stating “We have a commitment to longevity at Helen Kaminski. The artists working at Bábbarra Women’s Centre feel and work with this same commitment to longevity… Our shared approach to sustainability converges on this idea of people as custodians of sustainability and creating meaningful, long-lasting, timeless products.”
